These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the makemypost iOS application (the "App").

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

makemypost helps you curate photos from your camera roll and create social media content using on-device features. The App is designed to process your photos on your device.

No Accounts

The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

Permissions

The App may request access to device features such as Photos. You can grant or deny permissions in iOS Settings. Some features may not work without required permissions.

Subscriptions and Purchases

If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases:

  • Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
  • Prices, free trials (if offered), billing period, and renewal terms are shown in the App and/or the App Store before you confirm a purchase.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings.
  • We do not have access to your payment method information.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Your Content and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the photos, captions, and other content you create, edit, or share using the App ("Your Content").

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes.
  • Only use photos and materials you own or have rights/permission to use.
  • Not create or share content that infringes another person's rights (including copyright, privacy, or publicity rights).
  • Comply with the rules and terms of any platform you share content to (e.g., Instagram, TikTok).

AI/Generated Content Disclaimer

The App may help generate suggestions (e.g., captions). Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not appropriate for your use. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding what to post or share.

Intellectual Property

The App (including its code, design, UI, and features) is owned by makemypost and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain your rights in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of your photos.

License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where allowed by law.
  • Circumvent security features or access the App in an unauthorized manner.
  • Use the App to distribute malware or to interfere with the App's operation.

Third-Party Services and Links

The App may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, social platforms you choose to share to). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, makemypost WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Apple Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to applicable Apple terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (where applicable).
